Instruction for adding references (O2k-Publications) and abstracts

In the spirit of Gentle Science and Open Innovation, we invite you to make available references to your publications (particularly O2k-Publications) and your Open Access abstracts on the Bioblast website.

Login and edit

  • You may edit your entries on the website any time. There is a deadline, however, for the printed version of abstracts.
  • Login (top toolbar, far right). Username and password are case-sensitive. If you have forgotten your password: mailto:[email protected] .
  • Go to your reference or abstract page (search with your familiy name) and click the Edit button (upper toolbar, right). Now you can enter your reference (O2k-Publication or abstract and edit the respective fields.

Text and references

  • We recommend preparing the text in a word-file and then simply copying and pasting the text into the website (you may also send us the word-file by Email).
  • Special characters (e.g. µ, °) might not show up correctly when copy-pasting - thus check for errors and correct them. You may send us a word and/or pdf file, such that we can help you in formatting the abstract on the website.
  • References: Quote references in the text by numbers in brackets [1]. Authors are listed without punctuation and are separated by comma (,); no "and" or "&".
