Problem

In files measured with DatLab version 5.1.1.7 the default name for the "Amp" channel (amperometric channel, used also for fluorescence measurements) is "pX" instead of "Amp".

When data are exported with [Marks] / [Statistics], the default units (µM, and pmol/(ml s)) are displayed correctly, but the channel should be "Amp". This error depends on the version DatLab 5.1.1.7 used for recording the file, not on the DatLab version used for viewing and further analysis.

Solution:# Upgrade to DatLab 6 or higher, available on the OROBOROS homepage(access with your user code and password).

  1. Files recorded with DatLab 5.1.1.7: Rename the Amp channel, using the calibration window as described in DatLab - new features. You may rename the "Amp" channel to any name you choose (e.g. Fluorescence, H2O2, ..).
