Description

For providing our customers the highest quality for Hih-Rsolution FluoRespirometry we recently introduced the MiR05-Kit, a premixed powder for preparing the respiration Medium MiR05. The high standard is guaranteed by our Oroboros MitoFit research laboratory introducing an application-oriented quality control in three phases: Phase 1 is setting up the quality control parameters and elucidating an expiry date. In Phase 2 we will test for our parameters and set an expiry date to finally get to Phase 3 where we continuously test for the high quality of the MiR05-Kit.

Now we are at the end of Phase 1.

Summary

We decided to go for an application-oriented quality control because we are convinced that it best fits the needs of our customers applying the Oroboros O2k Oxygraph (LINK). Usual controls don´t capture/comprise the complexity of a biological sample as our chosen protocols SUIT1 and 2 for pce (permeabilized cells, HEK 293 T used here) do. In addition we tested two Background protocolls for their siutability in the MiR05-Kit quality control.
