- All scientific and humanitarian organizations should join the world-wide protest against the Russian aggression-war in Ukraine. Oroboros declares solidarity with protests in Russia and outside Russia against this war.

- Oroboros Instruments offers a 1-year scientific position to help Ukraine women in science to pursue their career and continue to gain expertise in bioenergetics (mitochondrial and cell respiration, photobiology). If the consequences of war make a prolonged stay necessary, we are open to extend the contract β in the spirit of Gentle Science.
- The Oroboros Bioenergetics Adventurers β our international team of scientists β are motivated to collaborate with a colleague from Ukraine, who requires support at the time of war, with a background in cell biology (mitochondrial physiology or algal photosynthesis). If she intends to return home when scientific work can be continued in Ukraine, we will support her with a donation of our internationally leading instrument (represented in 49 countries). The running costs are low.

Led by O2k-Network member, Alessandro Prigione, the project aims to employ a novel approach to enable drug discovery for treatment of Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA)-associated Leigh syndrome (MILS).
