For technical support purposes the term "Main unit" signifies the main part of the O2k excluding all removable parts, especially  [[POS (technical service)]], [[POS connector (technical service)]],  [[glass chamber]], ...
The O2k-Main Unit contains the electronics and the Peltier temperature control system. In case of technical problems this modular approach usually allows to  replace/ service just the affected part avoiding to have to send the  main unit for repair.
To locate any problem to a specific part please follow these instruction:

Only  after OROBOROS Instruments ([email protected]) has been contacted  for [[troubleshooting]] and the problem has been located at the main  unit should the main unit be sent to Oroboros instruments for repair.
Do  not send the main unit without being told to do so by OROBOROS  Instruments, since many problems can be solved without sending the main  unit.
