Technical service guidelines

OSC (Open Support cases) templates

OSC templates are meant to include relevant questions received on the ticket system avoiding duplication of information.

OSC templates can only be included on the Bioblast upon customer agreement;

  • If you create a new template, make sure:
  1. that the same content is not yet present in any other documentation source (including wiki.intern, Bioblast, ...);
  2. to include the preword 'OSC' on the template name (eg., Template:OSC Dithionite, Template:OSC Oxygen signal2,...);
  3. that the chosen template name is consistent and directly relates to its content;
  4. to include it on the Category:Technical service;
  5. to follow the 4-eyes principle (if the question postulated by the customer is not clear you should simplify it but keeping its content).
  • Before you publish the template:
  1. hand-over to a team member responsible for the language-related proofreading practice (Lisa Tindle-Solomon);
  2. make sure you include the template in all the pages to which it is relevant.
