Preparation of 200 mM stock solution (dissolved in 99.9% Ethanol):

1) weigh 0.497 g of Amytal
2) dissolve in 10 ml 50% ethanol
3) divide into 500 µl aliquots (use dark glass vials - light sensitive)
4) store frozen at -20 °C


Comment: The product is withdrawn from Sigma but some residual amount is still available.
